Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operations Supervisor in the United States to monitor all operations, coordinate shipments, and prepare paperwork. The role serves as the primary interface between customers, sales, and operations while ensuring adherence to policies and quality service.

The position requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on safety and process improvement in a high-pressure logistics environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze ongoing process analysis of operational systems, procedures, and staffing to drive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies.
• Ensure safe operations as well as compliance with OSHA regulations, all applicable laws, and corporate policies.
• Effectively train, supervise, coach and evaluate all direct reports to foster good communications and morale.
• Review operational KPIs monthly and benchmarking data to drive corrective or improvement strategies.
• Communicate freight status and any problems to customers, vendors and other locations.
• Freight handling via forklift.
• Load/Off-load trucks for optimal routing.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Operations Supervisormonitorsalloperations including butnot limited to; Process shipments, prepare paperwork,communicate freightstatusanddispatch driversforpickup.The supervisorwillbe the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, systemoperationsand vendors and provide quality customer service, while meeting company policies and procedures.

PayRange:

$65,000- $75,000 per year

*The above stated pay range is theanticipatedstarting salary range for the position.The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salaryin accordance withall applicable laws.
