Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Lake City, GA to monitor and manage all daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and provide high‑quality customer service. You will coordinate with Pilot Freight Services, customers, sales, and vendors to keep shipments on track.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and experience in logistics systems.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Ability to read key elements of financial statements in support of functional role responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have superior organizational and time management skills.
• Must be approachable and motivated.
• Knowledge of systems used in logistics.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing process analysis of operational systems, procedures, and staffing to drive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Train, supervise, coach and evaluate direct reports to foster good communications and morale.
• Review key performance measures and benchmarking data monthly to drive improvements.
• Communicate freight status and issues to customers, vendors and other Pilot stations.
• Handle forklift operations as needed.
• Load/Off-load to build optimal routing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$65,000- $75,000 per year

*The above stated pay range is theanticipatedstarting salary range for the position.The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
