Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Head of Logistics Operations in Kiel, Germany to lead warehouse, shipping, GMP adherence, and manufacturing oversight in a two-year fixed-term role. You will drive safety, budget planning, and capital project coordination while ensuring AMWHV/AMG compliance, and representing the company in aviation security matters.

Qualifications

Several years of professional and leadership experience in logistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of GMP as well as the AMWHV and AMG requirements.
Strong leadership skills with a process-oriented mindset.
Degree with a focus on logistics or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

Managing the warehouse and shipping departments and ensuring that the flow of goods complies with GMP.
Overseeing operational logistics.
Responsible for SOP compliance, stock controls, inventory counts, and Veeva complaints.
Serving as Head of Manufacturing (Section 12 AMWHV) and the responsible person for wholesale (Section 52a AMG).
Ensuring occupational safety and HSE compliance, as well as aviation security officer responsibilities.
Budget planning, cost control, and coordination of capital projects.
