Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking an Operations and Materials Technician to ensure timely product delivery, accurate inventory, and smooth shipments at our Spring, TX site. You will support research operations with inventory management, handle packaging and documentation, and coordinate with vendors and freight forwarders.

The role requires hands-on experience with forklifts and safety SOPs, plus familiarity with SAP or LIMS in a chemical environment.

Proficient in safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean workspaces.
Customer-focused with clear communication skills to support stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage delivery, inventory accuracy, and shipments/receipts of goods to support Logistics Operations.
Support research operations through inventory management and sample handling.
Handle shipments from start to finish including paperwork, packaging, and coordinating with freight forwarders.
Maintain site stockroom inventory and coordinate with vendors and purchasing.
