Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking an Operations Internship for May 2027 in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Under close supervision, you will assist customers by providing transportation and logistics services and gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; 20–25 hours per week; junior or senior preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to work flexible hours. This internship is not eligible for sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily operational tasks including planning of freight and asset utilization.
• Support safety management and DOT compliance activities.
• Assist with driver payroll, logistics management and accounting duties.
