Job summary

Under close supervision, interns gain exposure to basic transportation management principles and participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning, asset utilization, safety, and DOT compliance, as well as driver payroll and logistics analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning and asset utilization.
• Gain understanding of industry trends and company initiatives relating to driver retention.
• Perform account-specific duties as required by the customer.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
