Job summary

The Robert Bosch Corporation is seeking a Logistics Co-op Intern in Florence, KY to gain hands-on experience in the Bosch logistics function. You will participate in training, develop interpersonal skills, and take on increasing responsibilities throughout the program.

Typical duties include root cause analysis, inventory tracking, cross-functional reporting, and supporting automation/material flow improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and in good academic standing.
• Ability to work any shift or days required during co-op term (not exceeding 40 hrs/week)

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of constraints and propose suitable measures.
• Perform inventory reports and analyze trends (bank tracking, FG levels).
• Assist with measure tracking (cross-functional) and monthly measure reporting to VM management.
• Assist with Material Flow Project by tracking AMR/AGV activity and join weekly meetings.
• Develop cost justifications for automation requirements through Total Cost of Ownership analyses.
• Communicate with cross-functional departments on AMR/Materials projects.
• Support process standardizations within the LOM department.
• Troubleshoot production, product, and material issues; provide reporting tools (Power BI) to track KPIs.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and other departments on projects.
• Support in packaging returnable management objectives and value stream mapping.
• Assist in work instruction development and other special projects as assigned.
