Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour + $3.00 per hour shift premium

We are adding full-time 2nd shift Logistics Material Handlers to our team!

The main role of the Logistics Material Handler is to move or cycle count inventory accurately throughout the building using a smartphone-like device or vehicle-mounted PC and forklift or order picker. They contribute significantly to the team's success by working safely, accurately, and meeting productivity standards.

What you will experience in this position:

1. Perform a variety of material handling tasks including pick location replenishment, inbound stock putaway, inventory cycle counting, and truck loading/unloading.
2. Complete forklift certification classes on all types of lifts.
3. Operate forklift equipment per safety policies, including daily lift inspections.
4. Complete daily 5S tasks (warehouse organization and cleaning).
5. Accurately complete inventory moves per WMS task assignment, ensuring correct quantity and location.
6. Properly prepare pallets for put away and replenishment following standard work.
7. Meet productivity rates when performing each Material Handling task.
8. Communicate barriers to leads or supervisors.
9. Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Program by participating in value stream teams or offering suggestions to improve Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, or Cost performance via the employee suggestion process.
10. Assist with order picking when needed.

You have:

1. At least 1 year of Distribution Center experience.
2. A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
3. The ability to accurately match visual information on a smartphone device with product labels.
4. The ability to focus on counting products accurately during every transaction to maintain inventory accuracy.
5. Strong addition and multiplication skills.
6. The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and work as part of a team.
7. The ability to use a smartphone device continuously during the shift.
8. The ability to lift 10+ lbs. repeatedly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
9. The ability to be on your feet for 8-10 hours.
10. The ability to occasionally bend 90 degrees and twist 45 degrees.
11. Capability to operate motorized equipment and all forklift types safely.
12. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
13. Willingness to work voluntary or mandatory overtime as needed.
