Position Details

Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Paid Lunch, Two 20-minute paid breaks

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

Role Overview

The Logistics Material Handler's main role is to move or cycle count inventory accurately throughout the building using a smartphone-like device and forklift or order picker. They contribute to the team by working safely, accurately, and meeting productivity standards.

Responsibilities

1. Perform material handling tasks including replenishment, putaway, cycle counting, and loading/unloading, focusing on order picking and processing.
2. Complete forklift certification for all lift types.
3. Operate forklift equipment safely, including daily inspections.
4. Complete daily 5S tasks for warehouse organization and cleaning.
5. Accurately complete inventory moves using WMS, ensuring correct quantities and locations.
6. Properly prepare pallets for put away and replenishment.
7. Meet productivity rates for each task.
8. Communicate barriers to supervisors.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of production experience preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners and software preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows applications and JD Edwards preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment like wave lifts, tugger trucks, and carts safely.
