StartupNWA in Lowell, AR is seeking a Manager Trainee Spring 2027 in the Supply Chain department. Under supervision, you will learn the management of a small driver count, arrange safe, timely freight movement, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

You will also gain experience coordinating with drivers, carriers, and customers to optimize routing, budgeting, and performance reporting. You will train in supervising shifts (including nights and weekends), maintain company safety standards,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required or HS diploma with 1 year of related experience.
• Willingness to travel to account locations.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends and willingness to relocate regionally.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and outside carriers to ensure seamless new carrier setup and productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and assist with projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Learn to train drivers and staff on internal and customer systems.
• Plan and monitor loads, routes, and freight movement to meet customer requirements and improve efficiency.
• Assist with payroll, budgeting, driver coaching, and reporting as needed.
• Coordinate yard operations, maintenance scheduling, and safety compliance.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or related field, and/or equivalent military experience
