Job summary

Kimberly-Clark seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the distribution and materials handling operations for the site. You will drive strategies to improve safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, and storage/receiving of finished goods and materials.

You will develop and implement cost-improvement programs, collaborate with third-party operations, and lead the Logistics team to achieve plant objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics or operations.
• Experience in a leadership/supervisory position required.
• Strong understanding of logistics within a mill operation and relationship to the KC Supply-Chain.
• Ability to coach peers and lead projects in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategies and execution plans optimizing Distribution Center and Material Flow operations.
• Drive supply chain value capture to eliminate waste and reduce costs.
• Provide leadership to the site Logistics team and third-party operations when applicable.
• Develop and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Manage labor resources and asset utilization for efficient logistics.
• Oversee equipment like lift trucks, robotic cells, palletizers, and conveyors.
