Job description

Coyuchi pioneered the luxury organic home textiles category over 30 years ago and continues to lead it — crafting coastal, vintage-inspired bedding, bath, and home goods from 100% certified organic fibers. We operate an omni-channel business across Coyuchi.com, our Point Reyes Station store, and a network of retail partners including premium Dept. Stores alike Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and Anthropologie, Amazon, a network of specialty stores and hospitality accounts.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics Manager to own a broad range of day-to-day operational functions across inbound logistics, third-party fulfillment, wholesale onboarding, and supply chain coordination. You will work closely with the Director of Logistics & Operations, serving as the day-to-day US-based point of contact for our overseas logistics team and our 3PL partner. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes pride in keeping complex operations running smoothly, and is eager to grow their career in supply chain and operations at a mission-driven brand.

What You’re Responsible For

3PL Operations

  • Own the day-to-day operational relationship with our third-party logistics partner, including inventory adjustments, order entry support, and coordination of requests from internal teams.
  • Manage wholesale order fulfillment and retail replenishment through our 3PL, including entry, tracking, and exception handling.
  • Onboard new wholesale vendors with our 3PL— coordinate timelines, communicate retailer requirements, and manage routing guides and compliance documentation.
  • Track and manage KPI’s with our 3PL partner, flag exceptions and work with the Director to resolve recurring issues.
  • Work alongside our customer service team to track and manage shipments from our white glove delivery partners

Packaging & Supply Inventory

  • Manage box, tape, poly bag, and other packaging supply inventory — monitor stock levels at the 3PL, coordinate reorders with vendors, and ensure we’re never short on materials.
  • Coordinate with the Director and brand team on packaging changes, new sizes, and design updates as needed.

International Logistics Support

  • Serve as the US-based point of contact for our overseas logistics associates, providing answers to day-to-day questions, escalating to the Director as needed, and ensuring continuity during off‑hours.
  • Provide light logistics coordination coverage when overseas associates are offline — including quotes, date changes in Flexport, and basic Flexport order management system tasks.
  • Support the sample shipment process from end to end, coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and freight partners.
  • Track and maintain key logistics and freight data including month-over-month container costs, fuel surcharges, GRI impacts, and carrier performance metrics; surface trends and anomalies on a regular cadence
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related role — with demonstrated experience in both international freight/import and third-party fulfillment (3PL) operations.
  • Working knowledge of international shipping fundamentals — ocean and air freight, freight forwarders, BOLs, customs basics, and inbound supply chain management.
  • Hands‑on experience managing a 3PL or fulfillment partner relationship, including exception handling
  • Experience with wholesale fulfillment, routing guide compliance, and retailer onboarding preferred.
  • Strong written communication — comfortable drafting clear, professional emails and documents that represent the company to external vendors and partners.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through; you track multiple open threads across multiple workstreams without anything slipping.
  • Comfortable working across systems and tools; willingness to learn platforms including NetSuite, Flexport and WMS
  • Proactive communicator — flags problems and asks questions early rather than waiting to be asked for status.
  • Calm and steady under shifting priorities; this is a fast-moving, lean team where things change quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time across a broad and varied task list.
