Job summary

Odyssey Information Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee warehousing, transportation, drayage, and last-mile delivery in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on cost control, route optimization, and vendor management.

You will develop SOPs, coordinate with internal teams and international partners, and manage budgets and performance metrics in a fast-paced environment. A strong English/Chinese communication ability is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Chinese for business communication.
• Experience with warehouse operations, trucking, and third-party logistics.
• Knowledge of U.S. customs/import processes preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and WMS/TMS systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced logistics environments.
• Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to work full-time in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse, trucking, container, cross-border, and last-mile operations.
• Develop transportation schedules and routes while controlling logistics costs.
• Manage trucking companies, warehouse providers, customs brokers, and other third-party vendors.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, damage, customs holds, and other delivery issues.
• Develop and maintain logistics SOPs, inventory procedures, and inbound/outbound standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, international customers, and logistics partners.
• Manage logistics budgets, reporting, cost analysis, and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Chinese for business communication.
