Job summary

Chenega Naswik International is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to support a high-profile security program across the National Capital Region. This leadership role oversees logistics operations, inventory management, property accountability, armory support, and equipment readiness for mission-critical personnel.

The ideal candidate has DoD, military, federal law enforcement, or security operations experience and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics, inventory, property management, or accountable property experience.
• Experience supporting DoD, military, federal law enforcement, government contracting, or security operations.
• Experience managing accountable property, controlled equipment, weapons, communications equipment, or related assets.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.
• Experience utilizing inventory management systems and maintaining detailed accountability records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics, inventory, supply, and property accountability.
• Manage government- and contractor-furnished equipment, including weapons, radios, uniforms, and mission-essential items.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and accountability of sensitive items.
• Coordinate equipment issuance, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Conduct inventories, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and report findings.
• Generate logistics and inventory reports for the program.
• Support contract startup, transition activities, and surge planning.
• Supervise logistics personnel and assist with process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Successfully pass background and drug screening
• Experience utilizing inventory management systems and maintaining detailed accountability records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional logistics certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Possess a strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, inventory control, and property accountability.
• Possess a basic level of proficiency with Information Technology (I.T.) software applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
• Possess verifiable speaking and writing skills that demonstrate the ability to professionally communicate with customers and stakeholders, including high-ranking government officials.
