The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist in Washington, D.C. to implement Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements essential for operations. You will develop and perform logistics management activities, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of resources.
This role requires providing expert logistics analysis and recommendations to management while serving as a subject matter expert on personal property management and accountability within the agency.
As a Logistics Management Specialist you will implement the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements in support of operations; developing and performing logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, and/or evaluating the logistical requirements essential to execute ILS strategies that will ensure the requirements for each of the elements of ILS are properly planned, resourced, and implemented.
Providing expert logistics management knowledge, analysis, planning, and recommendations to officials. Implementing, coordinating, and executing a variety of logistical activities for the Resource Management Division throughout the agency. Serving as a subject matter expert to management regarding the effectiveness and efficiency for how our agency carries out its personal property management and accountability program.
