About the Position:

This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA in the Defense Health Network-East. Serves as the network logistics specialist who manages, analyzes, and improves medical logistics programs, systems, and projects to ensure effective supply, equipment, and readiness support across the Defense Health Network. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Duties

• Manage medical logistics programs to support network-wide planning, execution, and performance improvement.
• Analyze logistics data to identify issues and recommend actions that strengthen system operations.
• Develop automated logistics requirements to support system design, fielding, and maintenance.
• Evaluate logistics procedures to identify needs and develop tools that improve stock, equipment, and supply tracking.
• Assess project progress to identify problems and propose practical solutions that align with network goals.
• Manage assigned logistics projects to control scope, schedule, and cost while following updated guidance.
• Coordinate logistics plans with senior leaders to resolve concerns and ensure support for readiness and emergency needs.
• Communicate logistics findings to leadership through briefings and reports to support informed decisions.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• You may be authorized to Telework on a Regular and Recurring or Situational basis.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
