Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a dependable Logistics Loader on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays). You will load trailers, read load sheets, and help maintain inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Candidates must have basic math and reading skills, be forklift-certified (on-site training available), wear non-slip shoes with safety toe and PPE, and contribute to food safety and quality across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of product types/locations and truck loading procedures via on-the-job training.
• Forklift operator certification required, to be completed onsite.
• Must wear non-slip shoes with safety toe and appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins and distributors.
• Reads load sheets to determine quantity of each product to load.
• Unloads inbound trailers and places into inventory or designated areas.
• Operates sit down forklift when loading and unloading.
• Assists with monthly inventory and maintains product rows and stands.
• Stacks pallets and loads/unloads trailers; uses scanning devices.
• Ensures proper code rotation and supports food safety responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Utz Quality Foods is looking for a dependable individual to join our team as a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person on 1st shift. This position will be based in our Goodyear, AZ facility, and is scheduled to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins and distributors.
• Reads load sheets to determine quantity of each product that needs loaded to destinations.
• Unloads inbound trailers and puts into inventory or designated areas in warehouse.
• Operates sit down forklift when loading and unloading.
• Assists with monthly Inventory.
• Maintains integrity of rows and stands of product when pulling or adding to inventory.
• Stacks empty pallets and places in a trailer.
• Loads and unloads trailers as required per warehouse, and operates scanning devices.
• Assures proper code rotation.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor
