Job summary

Thales DIS USA, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Logistics Lead to coordinate storage and transportation of inventory and goods, plan and count materials, and prepare shipments. You will work with Production and QA to ensure on‑time delivery, manage ERP inventory, and implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements, with occasional travel.

This onsite role requires 3–5 years in logistics, strong Excel/Oracle skills, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years general experience in Logistics activities.
• Experience with Trade compliance processes.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Expert inventory management.
• Ability to use computers and ERP software for inventory and communication.
• Understanding of the supply chain and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review orders and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate transportation providers and import/export documents for releases and invoices.
• Maintain efficient warehouse operations, minimize overages and shortages.
• Move inventory between warehouses and offsite storage with ERP updates.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity and cost.
• Serve as acting Logistics Manager when needed and ensure safety compliance.
