Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking a Logistics Lead to identify, track, and lead cost productivity initiatives for the Global Logistics and Trade team. The role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements shaping HD's logistics systems and processes.

This position can be located in York, PA or Milwaukee, WI with up to 25% travel. You will lead projects to optimize the North American logistics network and drive cost, service, and quality improvements

Qualifications

8+ years of related experience in logistics operations, project management and sourcing.
Experience leading large logistics projects with planning, prioritization and status communication.
Strong problem solving, analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Experience with data analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Lead projects that will optimize the North American logistics network.
Drive continuous improvement efforts resulting in better service, cost, and quality.
Conduct benchmarking, market tests, or bid events to ensure competitive costs.
Lead workshops to build the cost productivity idea pipeline.
Own the Logistics risk mitigation playbook and ensure 3PLs have adequate risk mitigation plans.
