Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Senior Logistics Systems Engineer in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will design and implement IT systems ensuring seamless integration across logistic operations.

Your responsibilities include leading solution design, owning project delivery, and ensuring operational readiness. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 2–5 years in logistics, and experience in IT solutions design.

Overview

As a Senior Logistics Systems Engineer at Kuehne+Nagel, you will design, implement, and optimize IT systems that power contract logistics operations, ensuring seamless integration across warehouse management, transportation, and customer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre‑sales, solution design, and customer engagement, owning Non‑Functional Requirements, Solution Concept Templates, and Rough Order of Magnitude estimates to deliver competitive RFPs.
• Own full lifecycle delivery across WMS, ERP, and TMS, including build, integration, testing, cutover, and hypercare to ensure successful, stable go‑lives.
• Ensure operational readiness through documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer, while providing Level 3 support and driving proactive problem management.
• Establish and enforce scalable standards through reusable architectures and IaC, coaching global teams and ensuring consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
