Job summary

Sabert Corporation offers an internship program that provides real hands-on experience applying classroom learning to meaningful business challenges. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to impactful projects and building skills for long-term career growth.

You’ll collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics teams on improvements, gain exposure to freight pricing, procurement, and warehouse optimization, and develop practical reporting and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Assist with freight pricing analysis and benchmarking.
• Support freight procurement and carrier management processes.
• Perform transportation and logistics analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with warehouse flow improvement initiatives.
• Support forklift repair and maintenance tracking.
• Participate in storage optimization and warehouse utilization projects.
• Assist with capital project evaluations, including cost savings analysis.
• Support Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory evaluations.
• Assess warehouse and packaging design concerns related to storage space.
• Develop reports and recommendations to support logistics decision-making.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics teams on improvements.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with freight pricing analysis and benchmarking activities.
• Support freight procurement and carrier management processes.
• Perform transportation and logistics analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with warehouse flow improvement initiatives.
• Support forklift repair and maintenance tracking efforts.
• Participate in storage optimization and warehouse utilization projects.
• Assist with capital project evaluations, including cost savings analysis related to racking installations.
• Support Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB) evaluations.
• Assist in assessing warehouse and packaging design concerns related to available storage space and facility constraints.
• Develop reports and recommendations to support logistics decision-making.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics teams on improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Experience And Education

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant coursework in supply chain, logistics, transportation, operations, or business analytics.
• Experience with data analysis projects preferred.
• Interest in transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
