Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is seeking a Logistics I to perform material handling and packing tasks in a safety- and quality-focused setting. You may operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists to move parts and assemble materials for production.

Responsibilities include order filling, labeling, and using various packaging equipment, with cross-training opportunities. Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to read work documents.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy to read standard work documents and enter data.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools).
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced, safe environment.
• Move parts using hoists, pallet jacks, banders, and other packing equipment.
• Assist with order filling, storage, and picking of parts and materials.
• Follow safety guidelines and operate in accordance with production schedules.
• Cross-train in other salary grade 1 positions (Disassembly 1, Cleaning 1, Assembly 1).
• Use computer systems and email as part of daily tasks.
