Job summary

FIC America Corp. in Carol Stream, IL seeks a Logistics Forklift Operator and Order Picker. The role combines order picking with sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack operations in a warehouse setting.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, pick orders, load/unload shipments, maintain logs, and ensure safe material handling. 3+ years forklift experience and basic English are required; ERP/tablet usage and overtime readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years forklift experience in a logistics environment.
• Ability to operate sit-down electric forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Must be able to read and speak basic English to follow procedures.
• Willingness to use ERP system and tablet/scanner.
• Willingness to cross-train and to work overtime.
• Must be able to order pick in addition to driving forklift.

Responsibilities

• Complete forklift/electric pallet jack pre-shift inspections.
• Pick orders following pick line process.
• Move materials from containers to customer containers per order.
• Complete verification forms, shipping alerts, and daily logs.
• Stack materials onto pallets for transport.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload, transport, or stack products.
• Set lifting device positions under pallets, skids, or containers.
• Store products and secure materials for transport.
• Signal presence to workers when operating vehicles.
• Complete and pass forklift operator training.
• Follow standard work instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
