Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate forklifts or loading equipment to move, load, unload, and stack materials, ensuring safe handling and accurate loads for timely delivery.

Working in a warehouse setting, you will stage orders, assist with data entry, and support the team leader as needed. Training is available for some positions, and employment offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must comply with Hamilton-Ryker’s substance abuse policy.
• Prior forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or loading/unloading equipment in a warehouse or factory.
• Move levers or controls to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
• Inspect load for accuracy and move it safely for timely delivery.
• Load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, or vehicles.
• Position lifting devices and secure material for transport.
• Unload and load trucks; stage customer orders; wrap prep orders.
• Scan orders in shipping mode before loading Toyota trucks.
• Assist with customer data entry; support requests from Group or Team Leader.

What you’ll do:

• Work in a warehouse or factory environment operating a forklift or other loading and unloading equipment or machines.

• Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.

• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.

• Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
  
• Unload and load any and all trucks
• stage all customer orders
• wrap and stage all prep orders
• scan all orders in shipping mode before loading Toyota trucks
• keep change-out area available
• assist with customer data entry
• support requests made by Group or Team Leader
