Bosch Charleston, part of a global network, offers a Co-op opportunity for Logistics and Engineering students to support planning in supply chain, procurement, and production control. You will engage in process studies, capacity analyses, and collaboration with engineers on real-world projects.

We seek students pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Packaging, or related field with strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Packaging, or a related Engineering field.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Competent in use of systematic problem solving tools.
• Self-starting and results oriented.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of teamwork.
• Exhibits a customer oriented mentality.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to meet deadlines on assigned tasks, utilize project timeline tools, and effectively communicate goals and results.

Responsibilities

• Perform process and gage capability studies
• OEE and line utilization studies
• Support Engineers in trouble-shooting specific problem areas
• Communicate and work effectively through specific task assignment
• Analysis and decision making responsibility for specific problems or topics
• Improvement proposals and execution of such as supported by analysis
• SPC overview responsibilities
• Asset and capacity studies
