Job summary

Neovia Logistics seeks a Warehouse Design Engineer to optimize parts storage, put-away, shipping, and space utilization. You will plan, coordinate and assist with redesigns of storage layouts to improve efficiency.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical thinking, and knowledge of warehouse management systems (SAP/WM). A degree in logistics and up to 2 years of experience are typical, with on-site work in Kansas.

Qualifications

Degree in Logistics/Production Engineering or equivalent logistics experience.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Good interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work in a team environment with little supervision.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, WM, etc) would be an advantage.
Operational management experience would be an advantage.
Up to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Review and develop warehouse storage concepts and support rearrangement activities.
Develop layouts of warehouse logistics flows and space.
Develop processes to optimize warehouse logistics operations.
Conduct Facility and Process Design reviews to secure approvals.
Specify, procure and oversee installation of equipment for layout and process design.
Investigate new technologies & equipment to improve efficiencies of processes.
Conduct special projects to achieve improved methods, layout and workflow.
