This position works closely with internal partners, operations leadership, and vendors in the implementation and support of process improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Position Location

The Logistics Engineer position is located in Olive Branch, MS.

  • Develop skills in project justification including vendor selection, cost‑benefit analysis, and ROI estimation.
  • Manage capital projects including requirements gathering, layouts, vendor management, timelines, and budget.
  • Maintain the Labor Management Systems in both Distribution and Manufacturing facilities through development of standard operating procedures, time studies, labor standards, and engineering configuration.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a similar engineering degree.
  • At least 1–3 years in a technically related field.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating distribution processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Capable of leading and managing projects to improve distribution processes, including planning, proposal, execution, and evaluation.
  • Adaptability to changing business requirements and technologies, and strong problem‑solving skills to implement effective solutions.
  • Desire for continuous learning and professional development supported with project variety, self‑paced learning resources, vendor/technology discovery, seminars, etc.
Preferred Qualities
  • Familiarity with simulation and/or data modeling and visualization software.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with automated material handling equipment or robotics.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools such as warehouse management systems (WMS), labor management systems (LMS), warehouse execution systems (WES), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification – Greenbelt or higher.
  • Experience in distribution or logistics.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders.
  • Able to walk to any area within the facility (warehouses typically 1 M+ square feet).
  • Able to stand for stretches of time (≥ 2 hours).
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
