Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Malta, NY, is seeking a full-time Commercial Vehicle Driver / Warehouse Operator. You will safely operate commercial vehicles for local P&D and conduct warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality checks.

You will verify paperwork, weigh/dimension checks, and ensure freight is handled securely with DOT/FMCSR compliance. Responsibilities include forklift operation, order picking, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
Able to operate MHE.
Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

Operate company commercial vehicles for local pick-up and delivery within a ~20 airmile radius.
Load and unload freight safely; verify shipment paperwork and check weights/dimensions.
Use gas or electric forklifts/MHE to move, stack and store product; maintain organized area.
Perform order picking, packing and preparation for shipment; ensure accuracy.
Maintain safety, quality, and inventory controls; adhere to DOT/FMCSR and SOPs.
