Job summary

McKinley Equipment Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking a capable Warehouse/Delivery Associate responsible for loading and unloading materials, assisting with shipments, and ensuring DOT compliance.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and support installers with material movement while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and delivery.
• Current forklift operator’s license.
• Class C driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, punctual and reliable.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Trustworthy with confidentiality and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and equipment for transport to job sites or installers' homes.
• Safely unload materials and/or equipment.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel vehicles as needed.
• Comply with DOT standards and regulations.
• Assist warehouse with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, staging and stocking.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist installers with movement or staging of off-loaded materials and equipment.
• Wash assigned vehicles as needed to maintain cleanliness.
• Follow regular vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Contribute to team effort by performing additional duties as requested.
• Perform emergency repairs (tires, bulbs, fuses, chains) as needed.
• Inventory unit at delivery with install apprentice and report results.
