Job description

Good food deserves a great delivery. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-minded teammate to keep Nicoletto’s products moving from our production facility to our kitchens, wholesale customers, and shipping partners. If you like an organized workspace, an accurate order, and a job where your follow-through matters, we’ve got a place for you. Our kitchens count on you, and you can count on a crew that pitches in. We work hard, play hard, and take pride in a day well done—accurate orders, a helping hand, and a little laughter along the way.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Make safe, on-time deliveries to our locations, wholesale customers, carriers, and other assigned destinations. Follow assigned routes and delivery windows, including Monday and Thursday wholesale deliveries.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload products with care. Check items and quantities against delivery documents before departure and again at the destination when required.
  • Keep delivery paperwork accurate and collect required signatures and receipts.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, drive safely and lawfully, and report maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns to the Director of Operations right away.
  • Receive and unload shipments promptly; compare quantities and condition with packing slips or receiving records, and flag shortages, overages, damage, labeling problems, or temperature concerns.
  • Stock the warehouse and walk-in using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation. Keep products labeled, dated, stored correctly, and easy to find, with older inventory ready to use first.
  • Pick, verify, pack, label, and stage restaurant orders. Prepare FedEx and UPS shipments to company and carrier standards, checking quantities, product descriptions, lot or date information, addresses, and special instructions.
  • Protect products from damage, spoilage, and waste. Keep complete and incomplete orders clearly separated, and report shortages, substitutions, quality concerns, or shipping discrepancies before releasing an order.
  • Help with cycle counts and physical inventory; report count differences or unexplained product movement promptly.
  • Support production and operations as directed, safely moving ingredients, finished goods, packaging, supplies, and equipment. Pitch in during busy periods, inventory work, and special projects.
  • Keep warehouse, walk-in, loading, shipping, vehicle, and assigned production areas clean, orderly, and safe. Follow sanitation, allergen-control, temperature-control, food-safety, vehicle, and workplace-safety procedures.
HOW WE WORK
  • Show up on time, prepared and ready to work. Communicate early if something affects your attendance or a delivery.
  • Treat teammates, customers, vendors, our products, and company property with care. Move with purpose without sacrificing accuracy or safety.
  • Ask when instructions are unclear, own mistakes, welcome coaching, and lend a hand when your work is done.
  • Keep the Director of Operations informed as soon as you spot an inventory, order, delivery, customer, vehicle, equipment, food-quality, or safety concern—including spills or possible contamination. Don’t ignore, conceal, or try to handle a significant discrepancy without management awareness.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable attendance, clear communication, and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to read orders, product and shipping labels, and basic inventory records; organize priorities; follow instructions; and work independently while staying accountable to the Director of Operations.
  • A commitment to safe work, professional service, and getting a little better every day.
  • Warehouse, delivery, logistics, food-production, manufacturing, or order-fulfillment experience is a plus. So is familiarity with FIFO, FedEx or UPS shipping, food safety, or material-handling equipment.
THE WORK & SCHEDULE
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly; stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, and safely load and unload throughout the workday.
  • Work in refrigerated areas and changing indoor and outdoor temperatures.
  • Use pallet jacks, carts, dollies, and similar equipment after appropriate training.
  • Be available for Monday and Thursday wholesale deliveries and other assigned hours.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Accurate orders, safe and timely deliveries, reliable attendance, clean workspaces, careful inventory rotation, complete records, and quick, honest communication. You’ll help our teams and customers get what they need—and keep the good food moving.
