CDL Logistics Driver

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate semi-trucks, including Hopper Bottom and Live-Floor (Belt) trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and defensive driving practices
  • Ensure timely daily pickup and delivery of agricultural commodities such as seed, grain, fertilizer, and other products
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and compliance
  • Utilize pallet jacks to load and unload products from dry vans when necessary
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Clean truck thoroughly between product changes to prevent contamination
  • Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit
Skills And Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
  • Proven experience operating semi-trucks, preferably in agricultural or similar freight environments
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques
  • Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
  • Physical ability to load and unload products using pallet jacks when required
