Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a PDC Operations & Logistics Specialist in Suwanee, GA to coordinate daily flow of construction equipment parts through the distribution center. You will oversee inbound/outbound freight, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery to dealers and customers.

Responsibilities include managing freight schedules, communicating with carriers, performing cycle counts, and analyzing data to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or parts distribution (construction equipment or industrial machinery preferred).
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules to ensure timely receipt and shipment of parts.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and optimize transportation routes.
• Track shipments, monitor carrier performance, and maintain accurate logistics records.
• Support daily warehouse workflows, including order picking, packing, staging, and loading.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock adjustments, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Assist with warehouse layout optimization, equipment utilization, and workflow efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports related to inventory, shipping metrics, and distribution center performance.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency, accuracy, and safety.
• Serve as a point of contact for order-related inquiries, shipment tracking, and parts availability.
