48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America! We are seeking a Dispatcher at Willimantic, CT to assist the Plant Manager in coordinating truck drivers, scheduling routes, and dispatching based on customer requests and needs.

The role requires clear written and spoken communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. You will work on-site in Willimantic with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications is required
• Must have superior organizational skills and be extremely detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Arrange for necessary vehicle repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
• Receive and relay work orders, messages, and information to/from drivers and supervisors.
• Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service.
• Prepare daily driver work and run schedules.
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.
• Record and maintain driver files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information
