Job summary

Lineage in Chicago, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments, planning driver assignments and checking them in and out after loading.

You will be the first point of contact for delivery drivers, coordinate with warehousing and transportation, verify product counts, and enter data into the WMS scheduler, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English may be required.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius with PPE.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver’s assignments including check-ins, door assignments, and post-load checks.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure documents are completed accurately and timely.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system; notify carriers and team members of issues.
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.
