WillScot is seeking a Dispatcher to own the transactional logistics schedule for a designated territory, including supervising staff and coordinating with drivers and vendors. The role focuses on optimizing delivery, installation, and relocation of units while meeting safety and service standards.

The position requires strong customer service, communication, and multitasking abilities, with a focus on on-time performance and efficient resource use in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 2 years work experience.
• 2 years experience managing one or more employees.
• MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience.
• Experience working directly with customers by phone and email.
• Strong customer service orientation, active listening, excellent oral/written communication.
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the dispatching and office duties for assigned territory.
• Ensure DOT compliance within the territory.
• Schedule and assign drivers and field staff to meet on-time delivery targets.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to update orders and delivery plans.
• Maintain safety, logs, and training records; conduct safety meetings as needed.
• Provide leadership and supervision to branch staff and temporary workers.
