Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or technical schooling required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with two-way and emergency radio systems.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt to diverse environments including adverse weather and conditions.
  • Interact with customers via telephone, email, and in person with courtesy.
  • Deliver top-tier customer service and represent a professional image during pickups and issue resolution.
  • Direct emergency vehicles and facilitate critical communications when needed.
  • Maintain a daily shift log and share information with the on-site security guard.
  • Ensure trailer security with exit checklists and data storage alongside BOL.
  • Submit Quality Issue notifications to the Quality Department for continuous improvement.
  • Keep clear records of customer interactions and inquiries for quality service.
  • Record and enter data for trailer moves to streamline operations.
  • Manage inventory and location records for finished goods and trailers.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to supervisory to ensure timely resolution.
  • Register visitors and guide them to entry points with a welcoming demeanor.
  • Answer internal and external calls efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read and interpret documents and instructions for task execution.
  • Conduct Vehicle Daily Inspection checklists for assigned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping a comprehensive daily shift log and sharing key information with our security guard at the end of your shift.
  • Ensuring trailer security by performing a thorough exit checklist with the Carrier Driver and electronically storing the data alongside the Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Taking the initiative to submit Quality Issue notifications to our Quality Department, contributing to our continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and comments in a neat and legible hand, thus enhancing our customer service records.
  • Recording, documenting, and performing data entry for trailer moves, streamlining our operations.
  • Managing inventory and location records for finished goods and other trailers as needed, showcasing your organizational skills.
  • Escalating any unresolved issues to your supervisor, ensuring that all challenges are addressed promptly.
  • Registering visitors and guiding them to entry points, displaying your welcoming demeanor.
  • Efficiently answering internal and external calls, showcasing your multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiently reading and interpreting documents and instructions, aiding in the smooth execution of tasks.
  • Conducting Vehicle Daily Inspection checklists on your assigned vehicle, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Carrying out your duties safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on timeliness, accuracy, and productivity, all in line with company policy.
  • Playing a crucial part in our team's effort to produce top-quality products, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
  • Demonstrating regular and timely attendance, highlighting your reliability and dedication.
  • Being open to working overtime when required, showing your commitment to our mission.
  • Prioritizing safety by ensuring the well-being of others working near moving vehicles, emphasizing our commitment to safety.
  • Managing key and equipment lists, contributing to a well-organized work environment.
  • Undertaking additional duties as required, such as filing, records retention, document copying and scanning, and paperwork distribution, all of which showcase your versatility.

Work Schedule

Your work schedule will be from Monday through Thursday, 5:30 pm to 4 pm

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Education: A high school diploma, GED, or technical school education, along with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Licenses/Certifications: A valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Safe driving skills and a good driving record.
    • Fluency in the English language.
    • The ability to work independently and unsupervised.
    • Strong time management skills, enabling you to balance conflicting demands effectively.
    • Proficiency in operating two-way and emergency radio systems.
