Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the logistics department in Grand Rapids. You will schedule company flowboys and third-party brokers, process orders, and generate logistics reports while maintaining high service levels and accuracy.

Travel to company sites may be required, with early start times and occasional overtime. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent experience, are highly organized, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Highly organized with ability to manage changing priorities and document processes.
Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with technology.

Responsibilities

Daily scheduling of company flowboys and third-party brokers for internal construction and customer sales.
Receive construction and customer orders and process orders to dispatch software.
Create and maintain logistic reports.
Track flowboy status throughout the day.
Communicate changes from customers, vendors and management to ensure proper order completion and documentation.
Answer the MPM Customer Service phone line.
Travel to various Michigan Paving & Materials and Stoneco sites as needed.
