Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a dispatcher support professional to assist with freight manifest creation and driver assignment for local and road deliveries. You will help maintain city dispatch sheets, advise drivers on issues, and support Line Haul coordination with service centers to move freight on time.

The role requires strong MS Word/Excel skills, great customer service, and the ability to work with multiple teams to ensure efficient operations and accurate recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Knowledgeable in customer care, OS&D, billing, dispatching, tracing, and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Create freight manifest list using applicable coding.
• Assist dispatcher with assigning pick-up and delivery drivers for local delivery activities and/or road drivers.
• Assist dispatcher with maintaining city dispatch sheet and advising drivers concerning problems in pickup/delivery of freight.
• Assist with Line Haul coordination and communication with service centers to move freight timely.
• Maintain records and determine discrepancies between items received and shipped.
• Interact with supervisors and service center personnel to support operations.
