Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist to organize and execute logistical sustainment operations in coordination with the GLOC, and to prepare logistics requirements plans in support of DACID Gillem and its forward missions.

The role requires 5–7 years of warehouse experience, strong DoD regulatory knowledge (AR 710-2, DA Pam 710-2-1), the ability to communicate with intra-Army contracts and officials, and readiness to maintain a SECRET clearance; minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of general warehouse experience.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute logistical sustainment operations with GLOC guidance.
• Prepare logistics requirements plans for DACID Gillem forward missions.
• Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning.
• Communicate with contract officials and DoD representatives.
• Knowledge of DoD logistics regulations and related forms.
• Familiar with GCSS-Army and container management.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute logistical sustainment operations as directed.
• Prepare logistics requirements plans in support of DACID Gillem and its forward missions.
• Review and apply ILS plans and DoD regulations to projects.
• Coordinate with Army/DoD personnel and contractors to prevent work stoppages.
• Ensure proper documentation for transport of supplies and equipment.
