Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a Material Handler/Delivery Specialist to support the Advanced Technologies Division. The role involves maintenance of equipment and delivery of supplies on site in White Plains, MD and Dahlgren, VA, with a focus on warehouse operations and efficient logistics.

The candidate should have at least one year of warehouse experience, be able to read shipping documents, and follow QA processes.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents.
Knowledge of quality assurance processes and industry standards.
High school diploma or GED required; one year warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Inventory control including receiving, storing, and tracking parts, materials, and equipment.
Organize and maintain warehouse spaces for cleanliness and efficiency.
Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
Perform receipt inspection and document non-conformances; propose corrective actions.
Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and warehouse tools.
Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed in warehouse activities.
