Job summary

SMX seeks an experienced Logistics Analytics and Visualization Specialist to support the LCOP, collecting and analyzing logistics data to provide visibility on inventory, equipment location, and delivery status. The role tracks equipment from manufacturer to end user, integrating data from manufacturers, transports, warehouses, and program teams to keep information current and flag delivery risks.

The position requires a DoD secret clearance and US citizenship for DoD contracts; you will

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience.
Minimum of 5 years supporting the U.S. Army at the strategic level.
Experience with Army logistics, sustainment, materiel management, or similar operations.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills; proficient in Excel & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the Logistics Common Operating Picture.
Track equipment from manufacturer production through final delivery to the end user.
Monitor inventory levels, equipment locations, production dates, shipping dates, and delivery schedules.
Review manufacturer rollout and production schedules and identify potential impacts to delivery timelines.
Develop and maintain trackers, reports, dashboards, and other logistics products for leadership.
