Job summary

The Customer Service Representative I position at Ryder in Etna, OH works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will handle inbound calls, maintain inventory levels, respond to inquiries and help resolve customer issues.

You will manage rental sales, coordinate with Maintenance and Asset Management, schedule work, generate orders, and support cost containment through inventory planning.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• One year or more in sales and/or customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experience and resolve concerns to customers' expectations.
• Handle rental sales and inbound/outbound calls to increase leads and new customers.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Asset Management to meet customer demands for inventory.
• Improve productivity through effective scheduling and planning.
• Generate purchase/repair orders and maintain files.
• Manage parts inventory and warranties to support cost containment.
