Minimum requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must pass an annual DOT regulated medical exam
• Good driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• At least 21 years old
• Chauffeur's license may be required in some states

Desired experience and education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience
• Delivery driver experience

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver orders to customers, providing excellent service and acting as a brand ambassador
• Maintain professionalism and personal presentation during customer interactions
• Drive safely and in accordance with Kroger's standards
• Ensure timely and intact delivery of orders, resolving issues as needed
• Communicate with customers about delivery status, adhering to standards
• Keep accurate records of deliveries
• Assist fellow drivers when necessary
• Monitor and record temperatures to ensure food safety
• Handle products safely, report breakages or contamination
• Perform pre-inspection of the vehicle and report defects
• Use company technology devices for navigation and customer interaction
