Job summary

The University of Utah is seeking an entry-level Logistics Coordinator to assist in the supply, material flow, and storage of inventory from supplier to customer at Campus, Salt Lake City.

This role supports inbound and outbound shipments, reviews purchase orders, loads and unloads goods, and maintains accurate inventory records. No prior related experience required; formal onboarding follows the Support track.

This is a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Ensure timely and accurate flow of material through inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and track shipping errors.
  • Safely and efficiently move and handle items and assist with inventory records.
  • Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, checking for correct quantity and type of materials.
  • Record any damaged, missing, or faulty goods and assist in quality control.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to keep goods organized and moving.
  • Performs routine tasks as directed under close supervision.

Work closely with warehouse staff to keep goods organized and moving. Highest-level support. Performs advanced tasks under minimal supervision. May mentor less‑experienced team members.

Requires 5+ years of related experience.

This is a Highly Skilled Level position in the Support track.

Minimum Qualifications
