Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team remotely in the UK or at our site in Harrogate. The role covers verification of customs documents, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with UK import regulations. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with autonomy after training.

Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail. Experience in logistics or related roles is advantageous.

  • Verify customs documents to ensure UK import tax compliance.
  • Guide internal and external stakeholders on UK import shipments.

  • Monitor submissions via inbox and CDS; maintain tracking in shared drive.
  • Perform month-end reconciliation of import documents and create Post‑Clearance Amendments if needed.
  • Verify courier invoicing for imports into the UK.

Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team remotely in the UK or at our site in Harrogate.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm (37.5 hours).

Job Responsibilities
  • Verify customs documents to ensure compliance with UK import tax regulations.
  • Support and guide internal and external stakeholders with UK Import regulated shipments, ensuring an efficient journey.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate discrepancies with customs documents, in line with UK tax regulations and business needs.
  • Proactively monitor and manage future, pending and retrospective submissions via our inbox and Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
  • Maintain tracking of all submissions in our Import Shared Drive.
  • Perform month‑end reconciliation of import documentation and submissions, generating Post‑Clearance Amendments (PCAs) if necessary.
  • Verify courier invoicing originating from imports into the UK via our invoicing (FSA) system.
  • Be fully conversant with procedures, POs, GLP, GMP and Company EH&S regulations pertaining to the department and the job role.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs or guides as needed to ensure efficient processes are in place.
  • Perform other duties as required from time to time, including other logistics tasks and routine FSA tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant national level of education equivalent to a High School Diploma, GCSE, A-level or equivalent.

  • Self‑motivated and pro‑active with the ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively.

  • Previous experience in industry in an operational or support role is advantageous.
