Job summary

Thistle Health Inc. in New York is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to monitor daily onsite delivery operations from start to finish and serve as the primary contact for drivers.

You will unload deliveries, organize routes, check-in drivers, update rosters, and assist with onboarding of new drivers while collaborating with Customer Support and Logistics teams. A proactive communicator with 2+ years of dispatch experience is ideal, with a valid driver\'s license and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven experience as a dispatcher or related role; direct-to-consumer experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license and proof of insurance.
• Must obtain CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of the roadways in the immediate area.
• Proficiency with Onfleet, G Suite, and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries from trucks and/or cold storage.
• Route organization and staging; check-in drivers and distribute routes.
• Keep the delivery driver roster up to date.
• Train and coach new and existing delivery drivers as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation and shift reports.
• Act as last resort rescue and/or VIP delivery driver when needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and Logistics teams to review error reports.

Logistics Coordinators are often the first person delivery drivers meet in person, and they are a communication point of contact for emergency and non-emergency calls from drivers.
