Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an Entry-Level Logistics Specialist in Georgetown, DE/GY to support the end-to-end logistics process. You will pack, label, and track cargo, coordinate shipments, and ensure compliant documentation for domestic and international moves.

This role includes SAP-based processing and ongoing data analysis to improve efficiency. As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate/ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Basic understanding of the end-to-end logistics process cycle.
• Knowledge of documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments.
• Knowledge of transportation constraints and hazardous materials movement.
• Understanding of at least one mode of transportation (ocean, air, or land).
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate company applications and systems.
• Ability to utilize SAP, TMS, and other logistics systems to access and process transactions.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, pack, mark, label and obtain weight/dimension information for cargo.
• Coordinate pre-shipping instructions and maintain shipment logs and documentation.
• Manage domestic and international movement of goods in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare documentation for shipments and communicate with customers on status.
• Assist Finance with rate validation on invoices and process transactions in SAP and other systems.
• Record logistics performance data and identify opportunities to improve processes, service levels, and cost efficiency.
