Job summary

Allen Lund Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Orlando to drive daily freight brokerage operations. You will manage loads, coordinate pickups, and work closely with Transportation Brokers using our tech-forward tools. The role trains you on our proprietary TMS, with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging Google Workspace, data accuracy, and Carrier outreach to keep shipments moving and customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Tech-savvy with a strong command of modern digital tools.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a fast-paced work style.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Master the logistics lifecycle: build loads, schedule pickups and vet carriers.
• Keep freight moving by making update calls, tracking shipments, and delivering real-time updates.
• Carrier sourcing and outreach: build relationships with carriers and assess lane availability and capacity.
• Maintain compliance and documentation: verify insurance certificates, handle rate confirmations, keep carrier resources updated.
• Streamline operations & finance: support branch accounting, invoice matching, and digital tooling for daily workflows.
• Deliver 5-star service by upholding company principles with high-touch customer support.

Working alongside our Transportation Brokers, you will manage active loads, leverage high-speed tech tools, and ensure our supply chains run without a hitch. How You'll Make an Impact

• Master the Logistics Lifecycle: Efficiently build loads, schedule pickup/delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers within our digital platforms.
• Keep Freight Moving: Proactively conduct update/check calls with carriers, track active shipments, and deliver real-time, critical updates to shippers and customers.
• Carrier Sourcing & Outreach: Build strong relationships with carriers by inquiring about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity.
• Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Ensure seamless record-keeping with exceptional attention to detail by requesting and verifying insurance certificates, handling rate confirmations, and keeping carrier resources updated.
• Streamline Operations & Finance: Support branch accounting by matching invoices, issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays, and leveraging digital tools to keep daily office workflows running smoothly.
• Deliver 5-Star Service: Uphold our company principles (Customer, Company, Office) by delivering high-touch customer support at every turn.

What You Bring to the Team
