Primary Responsibility: The Industrial Cleaner will perform routine and deep-cleaning duties in production areas, warehouses, equipment areas, and other designated spaces while following company safety procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize floors, walls, machinery, work areas, restrooms, and other facility areas.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, vacuums, and other tools.
  • Remove trash, debris, dirt, grease, and other materials from work areas.
  • Clean and maintain production equipment and surrounding areas according to established procedures.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow all applicable safety requirements.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow OSHA, company, and environmental health and safety guidelines.
  • Report damaged equipment, spills, hazards, or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Perform deep-cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.
  • Always maintain a professional and safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work around machinery, chemicals, dust, noise, and other industrial conditions.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
