Job summary

Microchip USA, a technology distributor based in Tampa, FL, seeks a full-time in-office Logistics/Operations Coordinator to support transportation, documentation, and vendor management. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate orders, optimize shipping, and resolve issues promptly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's in supply chain management and 2–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field is preferred.
• Supply chain experience (2–3 years preferred).
• Experience with CRM/SAP software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation providers to move shipments promptly.
• Collaborate with departments to update clients and ensure accuracy of POs and shipping documents.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Make special shipping arrangements as needed.
• Track and fix shipping errors and manage distribution budgets.
• Prepare invoices and manage vendor performance records.
• Develop processes to improve supply chain efficiency and organization.
• Resolve tariff and customs issues.

What You'll Do

• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Collaborating with other departments to update client
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Preparing bills and invoices
• Managing distribution and shipment budgets
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Track and update vendor performance for evaluation
• Create and process documentation as needed
• Resolve tariff and customs issues

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED certificate required
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field (preferred)
• Supply chain experience (2-3 years preferred)
• Experience with CRM/SAP software
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Computer Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
